  1. Are you open if it rains?
    Very heavy rain sometimes closes the attraction. Standard rain or mist rain does not.  Many times it may be raining where you are bit it is not raining at Spooktacular nights.  If you are unsure give us a call at 440-236-5454

  2. Are you open to the public or are reservations necessary?
    Yes, we are open to the public. No reservations are necessary unless you would like to book a private group of minimum of 20 guests or more depending on the night to have your own private picnic area, bonfire and hayride.


  3. How Can I pay for my ticket?
    We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.  Or you can purchase your tickets now online.

  4. Is it the same as last year?
    Absolutely not, its better!  We work year round to give you a new and better show. We do keep some things the same or tweak it a bit because our customers love some of the elements and look forward to showing their friends next year. Go to the What’s New page for 2010.

  5. I want to do a story at/About Spooktacular Nights /Rockin R’ Ranch who would I contact?

  6. Are discounts available?
    Yes. Go to the coupon link and enter valid email address and receive your coupon.  Discount coupons are also available at retail and gas stations and sponsor locations. 

  7. Is it Scary?
    Of course, but you will have fun at the same time. You will scream, laugh, and be amazed…leaving you absolutely entertained!

  8. Should we bring the kids?
    Yes. We are unique to our area and no one else could offer you what we have.  The Famous Haunted Hayride / The Haunted Barn and the Funny Fun House are geared to most people of all ages from the youngest to the biggest, strongest man.  If you think your child will be ok, bring them. We do not display blood, guts, gore, or anything with demons or Satanic, however Extremes Nightmares Haunted House is the exception with the blood, guts and gore. Extreme Nightmares Haunted House is limited to guests ages 11 & older. Tickets for Children ages 10 & under are not sold for the Extreme Nightmares Haunted House. All other Haunted attractions allow children admittance.

  9. Do you do something for the little kids during the day?
    Yes, please click the link to the Old West Pumpkin Patch or go to www.clevelandhayride.com. Rockin’-R-Ranch presents the Old West Pumpkin Fest, our daytime event, every Saturday & Sunday noon to 5pm from the last weekend in September until Halloween. Experience our Live Music Review “Country Kids” show with costume characters, hayrides to the pumpkin patch on our pumpkin patch trail, pony rides, animal petting farm, Adventure Gem Mining, fun house, face painting, free prizes, kids crawl, straw jump, kids activity area, corn maze, pumpkin slide, farm market and Halloween store, pumpkins and more pumpkins.  All day long all activities are unlimited with paid admission.  

  10. Are you daytime and nighttime activities the same?
    No. They are two totally separate events that take place at the same facility location, the Rockin’-R-Ranch. The Old West Pumpkin Fest (daytime event) and SpookyRanch (Haunted Event) at night and are in no way related or the same. They both have different times, activities and prices.

  11. Where is your attraction?
    SpookyRanch is located at the Rockin’ R Ranch at 19066 East River Rd.(State Route 252 is the same as East River Road) in Columbia Station, Ohio 44028. We are only about 10 to 30 minutes from anywhere in Cuyahoga, Lorain, or Medina Counties and surrounding suburbs.  Go to the directions link for specific driving directions. 

  12. What to wear?
    We recommend old shoes or boots and warm clothing. WE do not recommend open-toe shoes or flip flops.

  13. Do you serve Food?
    Yes. We have concessions serving everything from hotdogs, hot pretzels, nachos, corn on the cob, French Fries, funnel cakes, hot chocolate, coffee, cider, candy, chips, pop, water, etc. 

  14. Can I bring my own food?
    If you reserve your own private picnic area with bonfire (minimum of 20 guests depending on the night) than bringing your own food and drink is permissible.

  15. Do you sell pumpkins and souvenirs?
    Yes.  We have a farm market where you can purchase pumpkins, fresh produce, hay, corn stalks, gourds and other fall decorating items.  We also have a fully stocked Halloween store where there is something for everyone from T-Shirts, sweatshirts, hats, crafts, costumes, masks, glow items, toys, gags, trinkets and many Halloween novelties. 

  16. Will the monster Touch me?
    No our actors are trained not to touch you.  Something may accidentally bump you but never will they grab you.  You may be grabbed by one of the members of your own group who is too scared to continue without your help. 

  17. Are the attractions handicap accessible?
    Yes. We have special parking, let a parking attendant know and they will direct you to the handicapped spots. Let us know at the ticket booth if you should need assistance and we will help you on / off the wagon or anyway we could be of assistance to you. 

  18. When is the best time to arrive?
    The earlier the better to avoid the lines.  Also, Thursday & Sundays are less crowded. 

  19. Where do I park?
    We have plenty of parking with parking attendants to direct you.  Parking is FREE.  Also there is plenty of bus parking.

  20. How long will it take to go through?
    How fast can you run?  Seriously, The Famous Haunted Hayride / The Haunted Barn is approximately 25 minutes long.  The New Extreme Nightmares Haunted House takes approximately a half hour, the new Crazy Clowns in 3D Haunted House is approximately 20 minutes long.  The Funny Fun House is approximately 10 minutes long. Plan on spending more time here/bonfire, Halloween store, and outside entertainment.  Get here early to avoid lines. 

  21. Can we take photos/Videos?
    No, not inside the attractions or on the hayride. You can take pictures outside of the attractions.
     
  22. What can’t we bring?
    No pets, no weapons, no alcoholic beverages, no costumes or flashlights. 

  23. Do you rent wheel chairs or strollers? May I bring my own?
    We do not rent wheel chairs or strollers, but you may bring your own.


  24. What is your smoking policy?
    For the comfort of all guests, smoking is permitted in designated areas only.

  26. Do you have a lost and found?
    Yes, our lost and found is located at the ticket booth.  If you lost something check at the ticket booth or contact us the next day after 7PM and we will let you know if we have found your lost articles.

  27. What does Rockin’-R-Ranch do the rest of the year?
    Rockin’-R-Ranch is a real horse ranch caring for horses and other farm animals. We also grow hay, corn, pumpkins, manage a wood lot and grow fish.
