22 Years of “Spooktacular" Special Effects

This is not the ordinary, boring haunted house. This one, “Spooky Ranch” at the Rockin’-R-Ranch in Columbia Station, Ohio is truly a spectacular, “Spooktacular” event.  Spooky Ranch hosts five dynamic attractions that you will not find anywhere else in the Ohio. You might have to go to Disney or Universal Studio to experience this much excitement.  Over 20 years ago, Rockin’-R-Ranch began doing the “Famous Haunted Hayride” taking customers on a ride through the Forest of Fear where you experienced terror and suspense at every turn. As time progressed, other attractions were added.  The 5 Awesome attractions are The Famous Haunted Hayride, The Haunted Barn, The Funny Fun House, Crazy Clowns in 3D Haunted House and Extreme Nightmare Haunted House. All five of these attractions are professional, Hollywood type experiences that will have you coming back and screaming for more year after year. The use of piro-technics and larger than life 30 foot animated creatures will astound you. There are hi-tech special effects and lighting, very detailed scenes and rooms that will make you feel that you are in a Hollywood production. The  Extreme Nightmares Haunted House is extremely detailed and is different from other haunted houses. The actors have professional speaking parts with a theme to the house and we use and in-your-face style of acting. This is not the ordinary boo’s and black walls of other haunts. This is a theatrical production that will linger in your mind and cause you sleepless nights. No one under the ageof 10 years old is permitted in the Extreme Nightmares Haunted House because of the intense scare factor of this house. The Famous Haunted Hayride combines humor with scary surprises along the way. The Famous Haunted Hayride is known as the most technically advanced haunted hayride in the state of Ohio. Experience the Brand new Haunted Hayride in 2012 with gigantic sets, detailed facades and the most up-to-date special effects possible. The Haunted Barn has the audience right where they want them, captive, no where to run, experiencing a Universal Park type production brand new for 2012, as well. It is awesome. When the barn door opens, customers are clapping and screaming their approval. There is also the Funny Fun House similar to what used to be in the old amusement parks like Euclid Beach Park and Geauga Lake. This is an old style walk through for people of all ages and is a free attraction when tickets are purchased for the other three attractions. Spooky Ranch also has the new Vortex Tunnel in 2012.
